Eligibility minimums
- MDCAT: at least 55% (MBBS)
- FSc / HSSC: at least 60% (HSSC Pre-Medical or IBCC equivalent)

- Aggregate % = 10% x Matric% + 40% x HSSC% + 50% x MDCAT%, rounded to 4 decimals. MDCAT 2026, 2025 or 2024 accepted. No deduction for extra HSSC attempts. Ties broken by: older age, higher MDCAT, higher HSSC, higher SSC, earlier application. Same formula for 2025-26. No Hafiz-e-Quran bonus appears in the 2026-27 prospectus merit section.
- MDCAT 2026: 180 MCQs, no negative marking (PM&DC public notice 19 Jun 2026). Pass marks 55% for MBBS and 50% for BDS (UHS Prospectus 2026-27; KMU Policy 2025-26; Sindh Prospectus 2026-27).
- Older MDCATs had different totals (e.g. UHS example uses MDCAT 2024 out of 200); enter the total printed on your result card.
- UHS Annexure-IV example 2: SSC 1038/1100, HSSC 1100/1200, MDCAT 2026 172/180 -> 93.8808% (matches our worked example).

For 2026-27 admissions, University of Health Sciences (UHS), Lahore weights Matric / SSC 10%, FSc / HSSC 40% and MDCAT 50%. Each part is your marks divided by the total, times its weight, and the parts are added up. Example: Matric / SSC: 1038/1100 = 94.36% × 10% = 9.4364; FSc / HSSC: 1100/1200 = 91.67% × 40% = 36.6667; MDCAT: 172/180 = 95.56% × 50% = 47.7778. Aggregate = 93.8808%. How are the UHS closing merits on this page worked out?
UHS publishes college-wise selection lists that name every candidate holding a seat, but not a single closing-merit figure. For each college and category we took the lowest aggregate on the official final list for that session (the 13th list for 2025-26, the 17th MBBS and 10th BDS lists for 2024-25). The source link on each row opens that list.
