Eligibility minimums

  • MDCAT: at least 55% (MBBS (PM&DC requirement as applied by provincial bodies))
  • MDCAT: at least 50% (BDS)
  • FSc / HSSC: at least 60% (PM&DC Regulations 2026 reg. 5(b))

Good to know

  • Weights taken from PM&DC Regulations 2026 reg. 6(3), which binds every government/admitting university for public colleges. The admitting university's own 2026-27 prospectus was NOT read.
  • MDCAT 2026: 180 MCQs, no negative marking (PM&DC public notice 19 Jun 2026). Pass marks 55% for MBBS and 50% for BDS (UHS Prospectus 2026-27; KMU Policy 2025-26; Sindh Prospectus 2026-27).
  • Older MDCATs had different totals (e.g. UHS example uses MDCAT 2024 out of 200); enter the total printed on your result card.
  • Not verified against the Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University (SZABMU), Islamabad prospectus; quotas, domicile rules and tie-breaks may differ.

Matric / SSC: 1050/1100 = 95.45% × 10% = 9.5455; FSc / HSSC: 1000/1100 = 90.91% × 40% = 36.3636; MDCAT: 150/180 = 83.33% × 50% = 41.6667. Aggregate = 87.5758%.
